Together we're making great strides
BC Children’s is the only hospital in the province devoted exclusively to the care of children. That means one million kids—including some of the sickest and most seriously injured—count on the hospital for specialized care they often can’t receive anywhere else. Last year, more than 93,000 patients visited the hospital—which not only includes its acute care centre, but also its research institute, mental health facility and rehabilitation centre.
On May 31, we came together to celebrate the first ever, month-long virtual race filled with activities aimed at promoting physical and mental wellness. Although our annual signature fun run looked different this year, you inspired us with the way you rallied together with the community to ensure our province’s kids receive the best possible health care.
When it comes to the race to improve the health of kids, there is no finish line. We're excited to come together once again for the global, virtual RBC Race for the Kids. Join fellow RBC employees and the global community today by registering to run on October 17-18, 2020 and supporting BC Children's Hospital Foundation.

Over the past decade, the RBC Race for the Kids series has grown to include 17 charitable events raising more than $57 million for our local charity partners. This year, the COVID-19 pandemic means most of our physical Races can’t happen so welcome to the first ever RBC Global Virtual Race for the Kids. Our ambition is to create the world’s biggest, virtual family fun run in support of over 30 youth charities to help them continue their incredible work at this challenging time.
