Stichting Casa Cuna Progreso is a non-profit organization, founded as a children’s home since 4th of April 1957. Stichting Casa Cuna Progreso is a 7x24 hour facility for children from 0 to 6 (8) years who are (temporarily) no longer able to live at home. Casa Cuna assists by temporarily taking over the tasks of caring for their children with the hope they ultimately return home.
Cas Diet Booi Project
Casa Cuna started October 14, 2019 with a house for teenage mothers for pregnant girls and young mothers, 'Cas Diet Booi'. Young parenting is not a problem in itself. It becomes a problem when the young family faces many risks and problems that are not offset by protective factors. In order to avoid separation of mother and child, Casa Cuna started the teenage mother house to offers, in cooperation with its chain partners, four (4) living places for temporary shelter and guidance of teenage mothers with their child or children.
Casa Cuna makes it possible for the young mothers to stay until their situation at home is safe or we find foster parents for their child. During their stay at Casa Cuna the teenage mothers learn different skills for example gardening so they can live off the produce, eat healthy & perhaps sell to make money. Casa Cuna provides them the possibility to live for a max of 1.5 to 2 years at the foundation.
We thank you for your enthusiasm and support and we hope you can join us again for this reimagined event!

Parents are very important in the counseling and treatment of young children, including when children have been removed from home. Guiding parents and improving bonding with their children increases the children's chances of healthy development.
