The charity we are supporting is Youth INC.
Charities need us more than ever and that is why we’ve signed up for the first-ever global, virtual RBC Race for the Kids to raise much-needed funds for youth charities around the world.
At this unprecedented time, we find ourselves battling a global pandemic, reckoning with the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, and experiencing nationwide protests calling for justice and an end to police brutality and systemic violence against the Black community.
This trifecta of deadly crises is not new. For many of the 300,000 young people served by Youth INC's 75 nonprofit partners, these issues are ever-present. Therefore, Youth INC is not looking to ‘return to normal,’ but rather to push forward and create access to opportunity.
Now more than ever, Youth INC needs our support! With the future of school closures, government contracts, and funding uncertain, many of Youth INC's nonprofit partners are facing insolvency at a time when young people need their services and programs most.
With your generosity, we can continue to make it possible for all young people in NYC to realize their potential and actualize their dreams.
