RBC Race for the Kids Toronto helps change — and save — the lives of young people affected by mental illness and addiction. This virtual run/walk for charity raises for the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook, part of the Hurvitz Brain Sciences Program.
Since 2013, RBC Race for the Kids Toronto has rallied over 60,000 participants and raised over $16 million, helping thousands of young people who are struggling with mental health challenges.

Why We Run
Did you know that as many as 1.2 million young Canadians struggle with mental health, yet only 1 in 5 get the care they need. On top of that, COVID-19 has been taking its toll on our youth. After more than 1 year of the pandemic, almost 7 out of 10 youth report a worsening of their emotional/mental health. With your help, Sunnybrook's Family Navigation Project aims to change this.
A Global, Virtual, Family Fun Run Supporting Youth Charities Around the World
Since 2009, RBC Race for the Kids has grown to an exciting series of 17 charitable Races taking around the world, supporting kids and youth-focused causes. In total, 290,000+ participants have raised more than C$65 million.
In 2020, the series of in-person Races couldn’t happen so we pivoted to a global, virtual RBC Race for the Kids to continue raising much-needed funds for our charity partners. Last year, over 33,000 participants from 120+ countries raised more than C$8.8 million!
Join us and participants from all around the globe to raise awareness and support for our 35 charity partners in 19 countries – and the young people they help during this challenging time.

The RBC Race for the Kids Toronto Industry Challenge brings together business leaders in key industries to raise funds in support of youth mental health. For the past five years, the Challenge has helped Sunnybrook's Family Navigation Project, the first-of-its-kind and the largest navigation program in Canada, improve access to the mental health care system for youth and their families.
The 2021 Industry Challenge features three different industries: Law, Accounting and Consulting, and Real Estate. The Industry Challenge is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your commitment to helping youth who are struggling with mental health find the care they need.
Sunnybrook's Family Navigation Project is entirely donor funded, so it depends on caring people like you to fundraise knowing your efforts will have a life-changing impact on youth suffering with mental illness and addiction.
By volunteering to collect donations through RBC Race for the Kids, you’re joining a community working together to help youth reach their potential.
