Every day, more than 600 seriously ill children and young people from across the UK arrive at GOSH. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex conditions, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.
With COVID-19 still ongoing, GOSH Charity's major fundraising events are remaining virtual.
And GOSH still needs your support. Any help you can give means you’ll be making a huge difference to seriously ill children and their families.

A Global, Virtual, Family Fun Run Supporting Youth Charities Around the World
Since 2009, RBC Race for the Kids has grown to an exciting series of 17 charitable Races taking around the world, supporting kids and youth-focused causes. In total, 290,000+ participants have raised more than C$65 million.
In 2020, the series of in-person Races couldn’t happen so we pivoted to a global, virtual RBC Race for the Kids to continue raising much-needed funds for our charity partners. Last year, over 33,000 participants from 120+ countries raised more than C$8.8 million!
Join us and participants from all around the globe to raise awareness and support for our 35 charity partners in 19 countries – and the young people they help during this challenging time.
To date, RBC Race for the Kids London has raised nearly £8,000,000 for seriously ill children being treated at GOSH. See what your support could do this year.
could, for example, pay for one patient to have their spirits lifted at the hospital's magical Christmas party.
could, for example, fund everything a surgical researcher uses in the lab for a day when identifying new ways to repurpose existing drugs to block/restore mutations that cause brain tumours in children.
could, for example, pay for a Play team worker for one day. Through play, these GOSH superheroes ensure children feel in control, calm, informed about what's happening and most importantly, able to be children.
could, for example, pay for a family to stay in family accommodation near the hospital for 10 days while their child has a procedure.
Harry, aged nine, was rushed into intensive care at GOSH shortly after he was born, where he was diagnosed with the condition, Critical Pulmonary Stenosis, which is where there is a narrowing of the valve in the heart between the right pumping chamber and the blood vessel that carries blood to the lungs.
After arriving at GOSH, Harry had open heart surgery, where doctors inserted a stent to keep his heart functioning. He’s since had three more operations and is now doing really well.
Harry said: “Me and my family have done RBC Race for the Kids for the last couple of years. I love running and want to raise as much money as possible for the charity. I want to say thank you to GOSH as they saved my life.”
