Therapeutic support for children in-need whose families are going through difficult circumstances
The Croix-Rouge luxembourgeoise's mission is to help vulnerable people to live in dignity and autonomy. By mobilising human solidarity, we act in the best interest of those in distress who need assistance and help prevent situations of physical, health and social precariousness, both in Luxembourg and abroad.
The Kannerhaus Jean Therapeutic Centre is dedicated to families who are going through difficult circumstances and whose children are showing signs of behavioural or emotional problems as a result of mental suffering. Kannerhaus Jean welcomes each child or young person with esteem, kindness and compassion and offers high quality guidance for positive long-lasting changes. The Centre accompanies families in their search for solutions and helps them to put these into practice.

Why We Run
The Kannerhaus Jean Therapeutic Centre offers a range of treatment methods for children between 4 and 18 years of age who are showing signs of behavioural or emotional problems as a result of mental suffering. The Centre aims to re-integrate these young people, who may be demonstrating aggressive, depressive and/or anti-social behaviour, into their home environment and school facilities whilst also supporting their families by offering tailored help to their situations.
A Global, Virtual, Family Fun Run Supporting Youth Charities Around the World
Since 2009, RBC Race for the Kids has grown to an exciting series of 17 charitable Races taking around the world, supporting kids and youth-focused causes. In total, 290,000+ participants have raised more than C$65 million.
In 2020, the series of in-person Races couldn’t happen so we pivoted to a global, virtual RBC Race for the Kids to continue raising much-needed funds for our charity partners. Last year, over 33,000 participants from 120+ countries raised more than C$8.8 million!
Join us and participants from all around the globe to raise awareness and support for our 35 charity partners in 19 countries – and the young people they help during this challenging time.
